Eric: A very brief quote from Enter the Recluse
Sheppard laughed. "You're good, Ms. Stokes. Most people don't get the connection without at least some background. I liked 'Richard Sheppard' better than 'Sam Kimble.'"
"Was your wife killed by a one armed man?"
"Well, no. By a psychotic. But by all means pursue the joke. You can probably get another ten minutes of material out of it."

My eyes have glazed over with the drama, so I'm sorry if I missed you saying something about it, but are you going to post your novel in progress anywhere, or will we only see it when you're "done"? Or when you're "really really done" afterwards?

There's a cook in World of Warcraft named Stephen Ryback.

Danalog, he's posting his works in progress, but you have to e-mail him to get the info. There's a post on it.. a few posts back. Before the dramatic stuff of the past few days.

Mmmm Interesting. Of course it's hard to tell from a few lines but I must admit I like a bit of the sarcastic in my leads, so I think I'm going to like this.
It's nice to see you can agrro drama on the written page as well as in real life.
P.S. I know you plan on shopping this out to publishing houses and all but not being a professional writer I was wondering how long after your done (assuming someone picks it up, and I think they will) how long after your done will we see it in a nice hardcover edition?

Just to prove you should be writing a romance novel: Harlequin signs deal with NASCAR.
Not the best news site (linked off fark) but a brief google seems to support it.

miyaa: I take it you haven't heard the Speed Racer porno remix then?

...somehow, I'd gained the impression that, because it was an old-style pulp adventure, it was going to be set in an old-style time period. Which just goes to show.
