Eric: Can we get transforming jet powered motorcycles? No. But GOKU HAIR we can do...

Of all the technology posited by the vast and varied genres within manga and anime... we get hair care?

I guess this works differently from all the other hair styling products that make your hair all spiky and clumpy through... um... being... more expensive....

Now all we need is blue dye and a way to make our mouths tiny when it's closed...and IMPOSSIBLY HUGE when it's open.

Everyone says you're the guy, Erik, but I wanna be the guy too!

Incidentally, does it strike anyone else that pulling off anime hairstyles in real life is fundamentally impossible because they're essentially designed without the constraints of real hair?

I'd really be impressed if they weren't essentially doing what the British Punks did in the 70's, truth be told. I was always more amazed at how needlessly complicated anime clothing seems to be... so many unnecessary elements involved.

('Snark's been choking on the idea of redirecting me to Typekey for over a day. Thus, now instead of then.)

I'm actually going to go out and buy a pot of this stuff to see if it works.

See, my hair breaks styling products. Even expensive ones. I can blow my hair dry and it'll spring back into coils within an hour. I can shellac it into place and it'll go to ringlets almost immediately. Hairspray fails. Gel fails. Mousse... oh, don't even get me started on mousse.

And every putty I've tried so far has gone to ultra-mad-scientist in the space of twenty minutes. I'm basically utterly dependent on decently strctured haircuts, and none exist for this hair. At all. Ever.

Therefore. I want to see how long it takes before my Goku hair loses structural integrity.

No. There will be no pictures.
