Wednesday: [w] This is how it's done.
OC for Wednesday will not be available due to an issue regarding an event.
See, folks? THIS is how it's done. Not with paragraphs, not with angsting...
This. This is how it's done.

This is a bit of what I was talking about when I said that often I have no idea what Wednesday is talking about. Anybody else know what this post means? I think we need some background information.
This is how what is done? What else has been done that was not like this? Paragraphs? Angsting? Or am I just getting stupider?
Also, why does my URL go away when I hit "Preview?"

Oh, and why does the Preview never look like the final product? How the @#$% am I supposed to properly insert spaces between paragraphs?

The answer can be found in the infinite recesses that is "Jesus, this program can suck."
The current plan is to replace with WordPress when we move. We're hoping that will do such things better.

No Piroism, no whining or lame excuses for an excuse or an essay on the tao of the lack of inspiration...
Just a pure and simple "nothing for today, will be some other day"
If you're still confused, I suggest you browse through the Websnark's archives, there's a nice article on filler-art (just prior to the "you had me and you lost me: Megatokyo" article), or if you really want to see how it shouldn't be done just go to http://www.megatokyo.com and check out Piro's rants.
you have been warned

See, I have exactly the opposite reaction. I get Piro's rants, even if they are angst-filled; I understand what it's like to be blocked in one medium, put down a solid hour's work in another, and still be blocked in the first, and I appreciate that Piro at least goes out of the way to tell readers what's going on. Yes, he's overly angsty and apologetic, but that's a personality issue, not necessarily a bad thing.
This thing that M Rowland's put up, on the other hand, feels to me like he's just blowing his readers off. (I'm not one - I kind of liked When I Grow Up, but everything since then's just about totally turned me off. So maybe there's something I'm missing. Then again, I could make the same point about Megatokyo.)

When I Grow Up was all simple potty humor. Everything since then has been vastly more complicated. You don't know what you're talking about.

Sorry, I think I'm missing some context here - do I not know what I'm talking about when I talk about how I feel about your "missed day" message, or do I not know what I'm talking about when I talk about how I feel about your comic strip?
Because, y'know, I tend to think that when it comes to how I feel about things, I'm quite a bit more of an expert than pretty much anybody else around.
If you weren't blowing your readers off, fine - there's something I'm missing. (See my previous comment.) But as a non-reader, without context, it feels to me like you are.
