Okay. For the record. Totally for the record. I think Wright could have probably done more with the situation before he resolved it.
At the same time, the out-of-nowhere return of Holly thrilled me.
So I guess we have to call this a thumbs up. Yay!
I was surprised by the return of Holly, I wasn't surprised by PvP's Brent going and chatting up Brent.. but then it was an Eric Burns original prediction (tm) ..
Someone should give him a biscuit. ^_^
chatting up MAX.. Oh yeah, I need sleep. >_chatting up MAX.. Oh yeah, I need sleep. >_chatting up MAX.. Oh yeah, I need sleep. >_chatting up MAX.. Oh yeah, I need sleep. >_
I feel like I've been surprised a lot in comics lately. PVP has had some surprising storyline twists, Fred produced a real shocker in Megatoykyo the other week with Erika and Largo, and here Todd and Penguin was lolling me into a sense of business as usual and then hits you with this.
Which is great, of course. I'm usually pretty good at guessing plot developments and the like, and like when I am surprised, but believably. When I saw Silence of the Lambs, I was actually able to guess most of the plot twists... but I always realized what was going to happen a half second or so before it did, leaving no time to prepare and keeping the thrill effect. Timing is obviously different in comics than in movies, but a well timed surprise is a beautiful thing in any media.
Re: TaP - Awwwww!
You know, this might make me start reading this strip. *smile*
And David... don't let what's still going on over at Keenspot's forum discourage you from having joined. It's just some egos flaring, is all. *I* think you made a good business move in joining such a collaboration of artists.
Take care :)

*blinks* Honest... I didn't click submit twice... but I did get an error message which I only just now noticed (I clicked submit and then left the computer)... I wish there was a way to delete or edit posts on this thing... *sigh*
