[weds] Hey! Y'Know What's Cool?

Kumala Zenith merlot/pinotage/shiraz '04. Far be it from me to be all about the needlessly commercial ten-pound new world red, but it's the needlessly commercial ten-pound new world red going at 60% off at the moment. If you're stuck in Britain, anyways.

I would rather have a pinotage-cinsault, or even just a good rioja, but, you know, that option was not provided.

Now, don't make me break out the cuvee prestige, guys. OK? You know what two bottles in one night leads to?

Reviews.

Oh, my, god, it is a diversionary tactic.

mmm, alcoholic beverages.... um, what were we talking about again? *looks confused*

Mmm. Pernod composed with well-carmelized brown sugar. Yum. 375 mL, no hangover, no headache, fresh as a daisy on the wake up.

Funny, it looks like English...

;)

::blinks at all the funny words:

My mother drinks wine out of a box. It is pink.

Personally, I don't really have a taste for the stuff, but then again I am merely an uncultured whelp who's barely drinking age and barely drinks.

There's a time and a place for the rose wines. In my house, that time is generally one day out of any given year, when I'm taking spring just a little bit too seriously. And the weather has to be just right.

And the stuff has to be on sale, because I'm both fussy and cheap.

Boxed wine is something I should not ever looked into. While I'm not sure I buy the "spacebags indicate the ick" school of thought in all cases, there is the issue of portion control. The last thing anyone wants is for me to channel Lyle. ^^;

Next time: a recipe for chicken.

Yeah, yesterday was a good night for a drink all around. As for wine, well, I drink a nice Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire Concord, and they make a good spiced apple... that's about it.

Some work friends yesterday were trying to convince me that the only redeeming point of St. Patrick's Day is the beer. I'm almost half Irish, and I hate beer. But the whiskey? Ah, the whisky...

Mmmm. The whiskey. One of these days, I will actually go through Heathrow T3 (because, for most US flights on airlines worth my time, that's where one goes) and they will have the Glenmorangie port casked stuff and resistance will be futile.

Maybe next con.

Okay, that's not Irish, that's Scottish. Point stands.

Because. Dude. Whiskey.

Mmmm, scotch... *shakes head* Er, sorry, what were we talking about again?

*eyes Kate Sith*

You wouldn't by chance be Kate Beta Sith, would you? With the renown mad scientist mother Kate Alpha Sith... *flrrd thrown objects*

Mad? Yes. Scientist? No. No, no, no.

Waaaay too much ADD going on there. Among other things. -_-;;
